I envisioned these nightlights as microcosms harboring our guardian angels: the totem animals. Since they appear in our lives to guide us, why not offer them a magical sanctuary? These imaginary gardens are crafted with new or recycled beads, sequins, glitter, and sparkle... The garden rests on a resin base that gently diffuses the LED light from the pedestal. As the light passes through, it becomes tinged with color and makes the glitter within the resin shimmer—this is where the magic happens.
The nightlights take shape within glass jars, carefully sourced from thrift stores. These jars, which have already lived other lives, are transformed into protectors for my totem animals' sanctuary. Like us, they carry the marks of the past, reminders of a time when they held candies or pickles.
I see my art as a portal to invisible worlds: the realm of fairy tales, energies, spirits of nature, the power of colors, and the dialogue with our inner child—all those guides who are present in our lives. These nightlights are my tribute to those guides we call totem animals.
Totem animals are spiritual guides that manifest to bring us messages of strength, wisdom, and inspiration. They appear in countless ways: through recurring dreams, synchronicities, or an unexplainable attraction to a particular animal. Each totem carries a unique meaning, reminding us of essential lessons and the hidden strengths within ourselves.
The camel symbolizes resilience and perseverance. It teaches us to keep moving forward, even through difficult times, and to conserve our energy. In moments of hardship, it reminds us that we already possess everything we need to continue, urging us to remain determined on our path.
A symbol of patience and strength, the camel reminds you that the true journey is as much inward as it is outward. The camel embodies the wisdom of quiet endurance and self-mastery. As a symbol of survival and adaptation, it teaches us to preserve our resources to navigate life’s dry and challenging phases. As a totem animal, it inspires the ability to overcome obstacles with determination and confidence, while staying centered and calm, even in the face of adversity. The camel reminds us to stay focused on our goals, taking the time to build inner strength and nurture patience.
A soothing nightlight for those seeking deep balance.
Endurance and perseverance—keep going, the journey continues!
